Good weeks training!

Hi all,

Well I can proudly say that this week I have put in a very good weeks training!

So where did I get to....

Yes 7am Spinning! Mental! Still at least that was my cross training session done for that day & all by 8am which meant I didnt have to brave the gym with all the new year resolution goers in the evening! Phew!

Wednesday was my short run, I checked my plan & this should have been 4 miles for the last 2 weeks but I have been doing 5 :o) Ok they have been on the treadmill but 5 miles all the same!

Thursday night saw the last of my circuits class for a few weeks so I worked as hard as I could! It was a toughy & saw people leaving to throw up at the end but I felt great! SO much so that stoooopidly I decided to get out of bed early on Friday and do an extra spinning class!!!! Just to make sure that I did really like it & it wasn't just a one off!!

Well, I found it a bit more tough than on Tuesday but that could be down the amount of training I have done this week & also not long after circuits the night before. When I sat on the bike I could feel where the saddle was from last time! ouch! Still I did it & enjoyed it & although I wont be able to do this on a regualr basis as if we have guests then it my breakfast prepare time so I won't be able to go I will see if I can get into the Tuesday night spinning class & go then as part of my x training.

So to today......

Walk the dog along the canal yesterday & although the snow is FINALLY thawing its still very icy & extremely slippy! for the sake of one more long run I decided to hit the gym again instead. I just dont want to risk slipping & breaking, twisting or pullin my ankle etc!!

So I ramped up my session (or tried too)

45 minutes bike, increased resistance by 1 & managed 16k
45 minutes x trainer increased my resistance by 1
But only managed 30 minutes treadmill, found it bloomin hard today! I had a sports massage on friday & my shin was still sore & I just couldn't get into it but still 2 hours solid work out is equivalent to 10 miles running so that cannot be bad hey!? better than sitting at home eating pizza which I owuld have much rather done!!

So adding my hypothetical miles from the week my milometer now reaches the dizzy heights of..........drum roll please..............81.9 :o) Thats a bit better!!!

So this week sees me jet set to Egypt but no doubt I'll check in here first........& yes I am taking my trainers!!!!!
